IDK mebbe my brain has more lazy cells than normal. Read somewhere alcohol kills the weaker (read lazy) cells to give the brighter ones a fighting chance.

You left out Arundhati Roy when talking about prose-poetry & general stupidity - which, the last time I checked, was her forte. May be you left her out due to respect for mothers in general - obviously a mention of the leviathan would be more suitable to Mothers day than Arundhati Roy. If it is the latter - then I am sorry I brought Roy up on the comments section.

1. Because I've never really observed how and what really happens in other countries in such situations.
2. This situation, where a thought is misread, misinterpret, and hence vocalized happens a lot in smaller towns of India.
3. Individual Indians generally hold strong views about a lot of things and consider that their view point is the most appropriate.

Twitter is no longer one of those platforms where right to freedom of speech (and thought) and be exercised without much analytical thinking. Sigh!
